Salisbury School

Learners attend Kindergarten through 6th grade before transitioning to our intermediate school. Our school operates under a 1:1 Technology initiative, where students K-4 are assigned iPads, and students in 5th-6th grade are assigned Apple laptops.  We continually strive to reach our mission of proving that each learner counts through our daily encouragement and support as we work toward meeting each learner's individual needs.  Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where parents and classroom facilitators work cooperatively to maximize their child's success... learners come first at Pequea Valley.

Our enthusiastic staff at Salisbury Elementary School meets the individual needs of each learner, through whole group, and small group learning experiences. We implement PA's Core Standards in our curriculum; these standards offer a set of rigorous, high-quality academic expectations in English Language Arts and Mathematics.  Salisbury Elementary also integrates Title 1 support in order to provide additional instruction opportunities in reading and math instruction as learners work toward proficiency in grade-level standards.  A Multi-Tiered System of Supports ensures added academic and behavior support when needs arise.

Our learners combine academic studies with social learning. We use common guidelines to create a school-wide focus; we show respect to self, others, and the world around us. These areas of focus create a learning environment that encourages good choices and consideration for all.

We take your child's safety very seriously and have procedures in place to prepare for emergencies should they arise.  Teamwork is of the utmost importance and we value each member of our school's team, including parents, guardians, extended family, learners, and staff.   Please feel free to contact our office with any questions, concerns, or comments.  Our phone number is 717-442-8268.
